Windex Outdoor All-In-One Window Cleaner Review And Giveaway

The grass is turning green and the trees are budding. You know what that means-Spring Cleaning! Time to clean all of those things that have been abandoned all winter. I'm sure one of those things will be the windows! I know we didn't go out in the cold to clean the outside of our windows!

Thanks to Family Review Network, we got to try out the Windex Outdoor All-In-One Window Cleaner!

Photobucket

No more ladders and scrubbing! This is the easiest way to clean your windows!

The handle reaches up to 11 feet so anyone can safely clean their windows. With just one pad you can clean up to 20 windows! There is no reason to let your windows stay dirty with the Windex Outdoor All-In-One!

I was so excited to get our windows clean in just a matter of minutes! We almost never clean our windows from the outside because that would mean bringing the ladder out and it would take forever to clean them all. The Windex All-In-One is so easy to use that anyone in your house can use it!

In just three easy steps, our windows were sparkling clean!

First you spray the window and cleaning pad with water.
Photobucket

Next, you simply wipe the windows with the cleaning pad.
Photobucket

When you're done wiping the windows down, rinse the window off with the water hose.
Photobucket

That's it! After 3 really easy steps, our windows were clean! They were in bad need of cleaning after going all winter(or longer) without being cleaned!

Boy hate to do windows. I drag the ladder from the garage, get my bucket with soapy water and a rag. Then scrub the window and area around the window. Then i get down and rinse off with a hose. I then get my glass cleaner out and paper towels and shine them up.

The upstairs windows don't get a cleaning. Every year I ask hubby to do it either in spring or in fall before winter and he's just too busy. I'm too obese to climb a ladder myself. so they don't get done. I've wondered about products like this and would like to do it myself! (If I win)

Normally, I clean my windows inside with windex glass cleaner. The outside is a different story. It is too difficult to get them clean with just the water hose so they don't get washed or least not in a very long time.

For outside windows I usually fill a bucket with hot water/soap, then I get a sponge and a drench the window and leave. I come back later and wash it off with the hose. Then after that dries I come back with a spray bottle filled with white vinegar to get that streak free shine. Lot of work...maybe that is why I don't do it very often!, lol.

I have to admit that I don't clean our windows nearly enough. Actually, I've lived in this house for almost four years and I cleaned the outside of the windows ONCE so far. I had a chair, paper towels, coffee filters and vinegar/water. The windows were so dirty that they were still streaky.. and my arms were killing me the next day. This thing would come in super handy!

Inside, I typically use Windex wipes which I LOVE by the way :)

Hmmm, how I normally clean the windows? Quite frankly I don't do the windows outside for the most part. Well, I take that back the bottom section of the windows tilt in and so I think maybe a couple of times since we have lived here I have tipped them in - but we have lived here for 13+ years now and they could really use a good cleaning!

Toby said...

I don't normally clean the windows. When they need to be done, I ask my husband and he does them. He uses paper towels and windex and then finishes with a soft rag.

About twice a year I do the windows - just paper towels and windex. Except for the windows at floor level. Those I do with a bucket of water with Ammonia in it and I use a squeegee and rag.

I normally use the garden hose to wet the windows down and then a sponge with some soap on it to clean off all the dirt and debris. I then dry it off with a towel (or let it dry on its own if it's hot) and call it good. I can't claim to have the best results in the world which is why I am very excited about this new product. It looks easy and the results look great! What more could I ask for?!?

The outside windows don't get washed often enough. We've lived here almost 9 yrs...I'm not sure when the outside were washed last. Our youngest baby was born Jan. '08 so, I'm pretty sure I didn't wash them last Spring. We had a baby in Oct. '06, I can't recall if I washed in the Spring of 2007. The inside windows I do more often. I use homemade cleaner (water & vinegar) or Windex...with paper towel or an old sock.

We have 5 windows that are newer & are the kind that tip in & make it easier to reach for cleaning. Those I do find it easier to clean. With those I use homemade cleaner (water & vinegar) or Windex...wipe with paper towel or an old sock.

In the summer, if I see the outside windows are dirty, I might use the garden hose & spray a few of them off. Then grab a paper towel or rag and wipe.

I read that others use newspaper...a word of caution, my aunt told me, the newspaper ink can cause you trouble if it gets on the white trim.
