BufferZone Pro is software that will help you kidproof your computer!
It complements antivirus software by disconnecting your sensitive files from the Internet. Your children will then be free to click on and download whatever they wish and it will not touch your important files.

If you have antivirus software, I know you're wondering why you would need anything else. The answer is simple. Antivirus software requires constant upgrading and maintenance. New threats and viruses are being found on the computer daily and this software will help protect your important documents from them. BufferZone doesn't require updates. To read more features and benefits, click here.
Minimum Requirements
• Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3
• Pentium 3 or higher, 400Mhz
• 20 MB hard drive space
• 128 MB RAM
With my little man being so young, we haven't put it on our computer. We are going to put it on my parent's computer. I've been sick so we haven't had a chance to go over there and put it on for them, but they need it!
My brother is a teen and my sister is only 11. Right now, my parent's computer is running SUPER slow and we're sure the kids have done something to it. My husband is going to have to clean off their computer and then install this software to help protect files.
Unless you are watching your children closely while they are on the computer, they are going to click and download things that may damage your files. With BufferZone, you won't have to worry.

So far, my little guy hasn't done any damage to the computer. Thank goodness. He's only 15 months old though, so he's got time.

My now 3 yr old son, went through a long phase about a year ago where he would constantly come and hit the sleep button on my computer and I would walk in the room and find it blank and freak out. I don't know how if figured out which one did that, but he sure got a kick out of my reaction every time!! Who knows how much damage he could do now the he is older :-)

My kiddo's have very limited access to the computer and haven't been much a threat to my files YET.
They are 7,8,& 11.
This product sounds Fabulous, especially not needing to be updated constantly!

My kids haven't done anything YET....but I keep expecting it to happen anyday. I try to be really good about telling them not to click on anything but things get by sometimes. My kids are 10 years old, 7 years old, and 1 year.

I guess I am pretty fortunate because nothing serious has happened YET. This will definitely put my mind at ease, if I win. The worst thing that happened is my 2.5 year old stuck a memory card into a small opening on our computer, so unless we open our computer up, it is history. Thankfully, I had already backed up the pics. My youngest, 5 months, well we'll see what happens when she starts crawling.

Right now our youngest (almost 14 mo.) likes to push the power button on our computer. It is so frustrating to be using the computer & then realize that it is shutting down. Ready or not! He is the youngest of 6. We have a 15, 12, almost 7, 5, 29 mo. old & the 14 mo. old.
A few weeks ago, I found pencil scribbles on the computer screen, I think our toddler did that.
A year ago, I couldn't find our computer mouse as it is wireless...I was sure it was gone for ever. After some searching, I found it in the desk draw (LOL). I still don't know which of the children put it in there.
Oh, I just remember that a few years ago, our 2nd child was using the computer for school work. He dropped a big dictionary on the keyboard. The keys were pressed in such an order the the screen direction was changed. It was changed so it looked like the screen was setting on it's side. Hard to explain...I had to call tech. support to figure out how to undo the key commands.

My 19 months old likes to turn off the computer before I shut it down. So nothing too big. I just need to make sure I am always saving my files while working on them. This product sounds great. I have a 4 year old and a six year old. They like webkinz! They like other sites too!
Thanks!

My sixteen month old loves to push the blue mouse button on my laptop, which hasn't caused any issues yet, but just waiting for a malfunction (dragging my files into the trash can, etc.)

My oldest is two...just because he is young, do not discount the powers of destruction that he has been blessed (cursed?) with. He found a way to turn off the wireless in our new laptop and it took an hour of frustration and a call to tech support to get it turned on.
He has also password locked my husband's work computer with just a few keystrokes.
This software looks excellent. Well, both of my computers crashed from virus overload lately. Don't know if they kids did it, or me, but either way, I could really USE this software!
not only is my youngest click happy but she truly belives all the you have won pop ups.Oy vey the fixing I have had to do.
Our little angel put a CD in our disc drive upside down, which caused it to get stuck thus ruining our drive and therefore the computer. But my parents recently gave us there old one and this would be perfect for it!
okay...between my 3 year old and my 14 month old I have gone through at least five mouses, mice, meeses. Whatever. They have broken the dealy pluggy in thingy out of the back.
but the worst, absolute worst, was when DS accidently dropped the computer on the power cord and broke it off. i have gone through 2 cords and $200 for power to it.
My kids are 8,7,5,3,1 and 2 months. The most damage they have done, unfortunately, could not have been prevented by software- a glass of lemonade was spilled on my husband's laptop- ruining it. Luckily, we were able to restore the files onto the new laptop. But, they do like to click on random things, and shut it off without warning. Also, when I was younger my dad brought his PC in for repairs only to find out that the problem was a graham cracker square in the disk drive!
35 and 32 thhy fix my computer as a matter of fact mverno@roadrunner.com
Right now for some reason, I can't access my Outlook Express. I noticed it after my 5 year old had been playing on it. I still haven't figured out what exactly she did.
My kids are adults and know more that I do about computers. My cat, on the other hand, likes to walk across the keyboard and mess everything up. Thanks for the giveaway.

My darling girls ages 12 and 14 downloaded limewire and then a couple of viruses with songs. Ugghhh!
My daughter is 16, my son is 19. And other than downloading toolbars and things of that nature that I had to get rid of, my daughter hasn't done any damage to my computer. My son has his own (he needed it for school). The sad thing is the one I worry about virusing up my computer is my husband; he's the one that knows the least about computers and viruses.
My son is two and already fascinated with the computer. He's made what I've written disappear as well as somehow accessing features accidentally that I never knew existed
I would love the chance to win, thanks.

My laptop has no space bar because the kids played video games on it and beat it to death.
My daughter is almost one and hasn't done anything yet but with two laptops laying around the house - it's bound to happen one day!
My now 19 son went through a "I want it this way" stage, and added a lot of programs to the start-up sequence so our computer took almost ten minutes to start.
kids have not done any damage so far to computer. Elder one chew on the cell phone and when we took that to shop, they said, it looks like the phone has been in the swimming pool:)
thanks

DS 15 is pretty savvy and actually knows how to protect his computer. DD 13 is a different story. I have had to replace Hubby's laptop screen because she flexed it too much. Have also had to clean out a couple of viruses and recover some files she didn't think were "important". She is not allowed on my computer at all!!
Ohh, my little one fights me for the keyboard constantly. She likes to "type" which is actually her holding down the same button for ten minutes and squealing.
