Scanalog Review And Giveaway

If you're anything like me, you have pile of magazines that you want to save. Some of you may be a little more productive and have actually cut out the articles you want to keep and put them in some type of folder. Either way, you're still taking up space in your house and it is hard to keep it all organized.



Family Review Network introduced me to Scanalog.

This software is actually designed for you to keep ALL of those magazine articles that you've been holding on to for years. You simply scan the article(s) that you want to keep and place it in the correct category within the software.

There are 11 master categories that you can file your articles under. You can even give your article some keywords so that if you forget what you did with it, you can just type in those words and find it!



Each of the master categories have subcategories to make it easier to organize your articles. You can even make your OWN subcategories to customize it to your life.

I think that most of what I try to keep is recipes. Later, I forget that I even kept those recipes because I have no way of actually organizing them to know what I have. With Scanalog, all I have to do is scan the recipe and place it in the correct subcategory. I can even make some of the main ingredients keywords so that later I can search for recipes that use chicken and they will all pop up!

You can even create a subcategory to scan all of your children's artwork into! It is so hard to keep EVERY drawing they ever created, but with Scanalog you can keep anything that you want! I've scaned all of Evan's little scribbled artwork because it's something that I want to make sure I keep!

Scanalog has something for everyone! EVERYONE wants to keep some magazine articles, newspaper articles, or recipes. Scanalog even has a place to keep up with which books you've read and which ones you need to. It takes it a step further with a spreadsheet where you can type in catalogs that you want to order from. You can put the name of the catalog and which page the item that you want is on!

Don't have time to sit down and write a journal? Scanalog has a journal already set up with dates and everything! Use it as a journal OR a calender! I am keeping a record of all the new words Evan says and the new things that he starts to do. As this pregnancy progresses, I will also put down special little moments with this baby!
