Aloha Friday #12

Photobucket

It's Aloha Friday again over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog!

My question for this week is:

Can you tell me some boy and/or girl names that you either like or have maybe heard and gone..hmm...that's kinda cute?

I don't know what this baby is yet, but I have a horrible time with names! My son's name is a name I had always known I was going to use! I never even picked out a girl name. Good thing he was a boy! :)

Right now I THINK I like Isabella Brooke for a girl, but that could always change. For a boy, I have NO CLUE! Hubby told me the other day he likes Connor. I need some help with ideas!!! Pin It!

I like Isabella for a girl. I also like Anabelle or Anabella. Sophie or sophia are nice. I also like Ivy. It was my grandmother's name, but when I was having my babies a decade or so ago, it didn't quite work for me.

For boys, I always have liked names like Jack or Jackson. Ross, Grey. I know this cute little boy named Owen and i like that too.

I like unique names. My oldest son's name is Lucian and we shorten it to the nick name Luke and that is what I call him on my blog. Very unique and I have heard it on occasion in other places but very uncommon and I get compliments all the time on his name. My youngest is Wyatt, not as unique but not real common either. I am one who elimates any name that is in the top 50 baby names. I don't want my child to have the same name as 3 other kids in his class.

As for girls... I have nothing for you. Sorry!!! I loved the name Kira when I was pregnent this last time but it was also a very popular name and goes against my rules. LOL Good luck!!!

I like the names you listed.

Too funny. I read your question and immediately had the thought in my head for a boys name. As I scrolled down, I had to laugh.

I was thinking Connor! I love that name. & Madeline. Josephine. Trever.

For my daughter, we did a little combination of my father's first name (Ken) and my husband's middle name (Leigh)... Her name, Kensleigh, is beautiful and unique, but not "too unique" that she'd get picked on in school or anything. :-)

The girls name is gorgeous. I never had problems coming up with girl names, so of course we had two boys. One of the names my youngest almost received was Alexander. It changed 2 weeks before he was born since my grandfather passed away.

Hmm, well for boy names I've always liked Elijah, Noah and Jonah - we've never gotten a chance to use any of them. As for girl names, I like Ella and Isabella, other than the names we used already, of course. :)

I like Isabella was well. I always had the same problem, after all the child is stuck with it for life.

Hmm...I do like Isabella. We had the hardest time picking names! A couple that we considered but didn't end up using were Trevor and Tyler. A girls name I really loved that hubby vetoed was Camille.

Isabella is so cute! IF we have another boy I would love to name him Hunter. Names are funny.. you may not like them in the beginning but they seem to grow on you.. Most anyway lol

Aww...I love Isabella Brooke! I had a girls name picked out but never got my girl...you could use it IF it is not too out dated by now...
Paige Nicole.

A boys name....I like the ones I have, wouldn't care if you used them since not likely they would be bumping into each other but....

Otherwise, I'm awful with comeing up with them too. Good luck and let us know if you decide on something.
